Senti Ako

Four years na ako dito sa Qatar at katatapos lang ipa-renew ng residence permit ko for another two years.

Gaano nyo sila kadalas dalawin?

Not Feeling Well

I'm not feeling well :( I woke up with a slight fever and couldn't get up from the bed. I called my office to inform them I can't come for work. It would have been a good opportunity to catch up with my posts but I also couldn't stand using computer for long periods. I hope to be better soon!

LP - Hugis Pahaba

LP-Hugis Pahaba

Qatar Museum of Islamic Arts

This is the Qatar Museum of Islamic Arts, which was designed by I.M. Pei who also designed the Pyramid of Louvre Museum. You will notice that each side is made of four corners. This is a new building and yet to be inaugurated.

Join Doha Pinoy Shooters Group!

Walter and I just joined Doha Pinoy Shooters group. It is a group formed by Pinoy residents in Doha who are interested in photography (newbie and experienced). The group has 73 members (current as of today) and still growing. There are also other nationalities who joined but majority of the members are Pinoys. By joining Doha Pinoy Shooters, we hope to learn from other members and be inspired by them. Actually, I'm just a wannabe. My husband is the one really interested in photography. If you are also interested to become a member, visit the Doha Pinoy Shooters Flickr page.

Burj Al Arab

Translation:
The first photo is the interior of Burj Al-Arab Hotel, a famous seven-star hotel in Dubai, UAE. This is the view if one is looking up from the center of the ground floor. Did you notice the THREE CORNERS above? The second photo is the Burj Al Arab building. The hotel was shaped like a sail of a dhow boat. If you notice, each side of the hotel also have THREE CORNERS.

This is so far the highest Hotel building in the world. We went here in 2006 but as tourists only because we cannot afford their room (it's all suites). The cheapest room costs more than USD 1,000 that is why they are considered one of the most expensive hotels in the world. For more information regarding their services, you can also visit
Burj Al Arab website.

Translation:
These are different buttons from my clothes which came with extra buttons. I save these because I might need them in the future. How about you, do you also keep those extra buttons from your clothes?

What Do You See?

Look at the poster. What do you see?

What do you see?

A few weeks ago, this poster is all over Doha. At first glance, the background looks like a woman in bikini. I'm sure the poster wasn't designed to look that way because the government will not allow such. But it's really deceiving at first glance. Tell me, did you have the same thoughts?
