Here, at the remittance centers, we get the actual exchange rate in the Phils (BDO or BPI)on the day we send the money.

About my job , since my company is multi-national, we can transfer to another location if there is a position available :) But then, since I am the "wife," I have to move where my husband is :) Thanks for the concern.

Korek, mamu! Wala naman tayong magagawa sa exchange rate coz the whole world is in a financial crisis. That's why I always use BPI in the UK. Online depost lang sa kanilang account sa London, tapos within 10 hours andun na sa account ko sa Manila. Higher exchange rate lagi.

Nina - if you are worried about your job situation, perhaps it may help to have options? But don't stress too much about it.

think positive :) about exchange rates, parati din kaming lugi everytime nakabakasyon kami sa asya kasi tumataas ang value ng euro kapag nakabalik na kami ng oyropa. kaya hindi na ako tumitingin dahil naiinis lang ako
